“Instituto Rio de Histórias”

O Brasil que Lê é uma pesquisa que reúne em parceria o Instituto Itaú Cultural, o Instituto Interdisciplinar de Leitura da PUC-Rio, a Cátedra UNESCO de Leitura PUC-Rio e a JCastilho Consultoria para uma ação de mapeamento e análise de projetos de formação de leitores e mediadores em todos os estados brasileiros. O objetivo é dar visibilidade a ações que estão (re)construindo o tecido social brasileiro através da leitura e da cultura, resgatando histórias e vidas, compartilhando conhecimento e apoiando decisivamente o estabelecimento de novos patamares para a formação continuada de leitores no país.

Prêmio Caio aims to identify and recognize the work of companies and professionals from the Brazilian Events and Tourism Industry, encouraging appreciation in its segment and in the media. Viva e Deixe Viver Association competed in the Caio Sustainability Award with the XI Workshop in the category Events organized by Civil Society Organizations, which conquered the second place, taking the Jacaré de Prata [Silver Alligator].

Performance Award - Highlights of the Year

The Viva e Deixe Viver Association was selected by the magazine Livre Mercado [Free Market], from ABC Great Metropolitan Area, among the 150 best cases honored every year for the Performance Award - Highlights of the Year. And still in the same year, 2008, won the award again, after being chosen among the 10 best cases. It is the only entity outside the Greater ABC metropolitan area that has received the award in the 15 years that the event has been held.
